Rockets fans, as we get closer to the All-Star Break/pseudo NBA midway point, I am curious about what every fanbase thinks is a national media consensus about their team that they think is incorrect. What do writers/podcasters/other fans/tv people get most wrong about Houston?

What does the media not get about the Rockets?

Given the criticisms of the offense we discuss in the game threads, I decided to spend a few minutes seeing whether a simple analysis validated the frustration.The Rockets have played 62 games (I am posting this before the San Antonio game). Below is a graph of the points scored in each game with a linear trend and a 10 game moving average (the dotted line). This includes overtime games which should have higher scores.<ul><li>The linear trend is not a surprise.</li><li>The 10 game moving average looks like it is moving up. However, the recent games that spike above the trend are Utah, Sacramento, and Washington.</li></ul>To confirm what Xiane has been saying, of the 29 games where the Rockets have scored the league average 115 or more, only 8 are from 2026. In addition to the three games already mentioned, the other five are against the Nets, the Sixers (an overtime game so extra time), the Bulls, the Pelicans, and the Pacers.Unlike in investing, the trend is not our friend. Something needs to change.

If you live under a rock, KD has been accused of using a burner account to same some awful things about his teammates. Do we give it any credence?

2-What advantages does the world stars team have over the US teams, on paper?-If we play for real, we can beat these two teams. Of course, I don't know what will happen here. But I think everyone will play seriously. That's the rule, that's what's being said.3-Ime Udoka, the Rockets. Season review, so far.-I think we're having a very good season. Because the team is so good, expectations are very high. When we get bad results, there's a noticeable negative energy within the team, just like everyone else. I find that exaggerated. We have some serious shortcomings, but if we had won the last game, we would have finished 3rd in the All-Star break. Of course, there will be ups and downs; it's a long and difficult season. But as I said, we are fighters. Ime has a strong character, so he brings that toughness to the team. All these disappointments are normal because we are a very good team.I'm happy with where we are right now because we're generally a team that improves after the All-Star break.4- Biggest motivation?-My family.You know I've been playing basketball till August, thats harder then it looks. But thats why I'm here, thats what we've been paid for. And we're doing work we love, which I think is the most important thing.5- Can you name the 5 players here who impressed you the most with their character and performance?
